Itinerary:
Hanoi arrival - HaLong Bay - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh - Hue - DMZ - Da Nang - Hoi An - Nha Trang - Da Lat - Sai Gon - Cu Chi - Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh departure.
Day 1: Hanoi (D)
 |
>On arrival, welcome at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel.
Early in the evening, enjoy the Water puppet show before having dinner.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B)
 |
After breakfast spend your day touring the capital and visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace (outside), his residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the Old Quarter. In the middle of the afternoon transfer by road to the famous Halong Bay.
Overnight in Halong Bay.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast board for a 4-hour cruise through the mystical Halong Bay and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. Visit islets with many strange shapes (man's head, dog, cock and hen), natural caves of Sung Sot and, if weather permits, enjoy a swim in the clear waters of the Titop Beach. For lunch, seafood on board will delight you, before returning to Hanoi later in the afternoon.

Day 4: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau (B/L)
After breakfast drive to the Thai minority village of Mai Chau via Hoa Binh. On the way stop at Song Da reservoir. Lunch in Hoa Binh before continuing to Mai Chau.
Dinner and overnight in a stilt house.
Day 5: Mai Chau – Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh – Hanoi – Hue (B/L/D)

After an early breakfast transfer to Hoa Lu, the so-called “Halong Bay on land”. Arrive in Van Lam village and board a small sampan for a spectacular 3-hour cruise through numerous waterways, beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies, to the stunning Tam Coc caves. Lunch in a local restaurant then visit Dinh and Le dynastic temples before driving to Hanoi to take the flight to Hue. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6: Hue (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel then take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Perfume River. Visit Dong Ba market, Thien Mu Pagoda on the river bank and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb. In the afternoon visit the Imperial Citadel, Emperor Tu Duc and Emperor Khai Dinh’s mausoleums.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue – DMZ – Hue (B/L)

After breakfast transfer to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). On arrival visit La Vang Church, the old Citadel of Quang Tri and Dong Ha Town. Lunch in a local restaurant then discover the 17th parallel, Ben Hai River, Vinh Moc Tunnels and the Museum. Stop at Cua Tung beach before driving back to Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B/L)
After breakfast transfer to Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass and through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co. On arrival visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain. Continue to the riverside town of Hoi An which was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries and which nowadays, is officially listed as a world heritage site. Check into the hotel and have free time.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An – My Son (B)

Have a full day with the tour “2 World Heritage Sites in a destination”: My Son Holy Land and Hoi An Ancient town. Tourist attractions include: architecture treasure of My Son, the land once belonged to Cham Kingdom; the Japanese Bridge, Ong Pagoda, Tan Ky Old Merchant House, Quang Dong Assembly Hall.

Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Da Nang – Nha Trang (B)

Morning transfer to airport for flight to Nha Trang. On arrival take a city tour and visit the Ponagar Cham towers, Hon Chong rocks and Institute of Oceanography.
Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 11: Nha Trang (B/L)
After breakfast transfer to Nha Trang’s port for a boat cruise to visit Islands. Lunch on board before returning to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax on the beach or explore the town on your own. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Nha Trang – Da Lat (B)

After breakfast transfer to the cool hill station of Da Lat (250 km). On the way visit the Cham towers of Poklong Garai. Arrive in Da Lat and visit Tuyen Lam lake, Truclam Pagoda, Emperor Bao Dai's villa...
Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 13: Da Lat – Saigon (B)
After breakfast continue touring the city then drive to Saigon (300 km). On the way stop in Bao Loc and visit a tea and coffee processing plant.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Saigon (B)

After breakfast spend a full day touring bustling Saigon: Enjoy a tour to Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market, discover the vast sanctuary of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and a lacquer ware factory. In the afternoon enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and discover the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral built in the 19th century, the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside). Finally, end the day with a visit to War Remnants Museum.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 15: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon (B)

After breakfast depart to Cu Chi tunnels and visit the incredible underground network built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam war. Return to Saigon at the beginning of the afternoon.
Rest of the day at leisure for shopping. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 16: Saigon - Cai Be – Saigon (B, L)
 |
Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City and drive overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival, board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals. Visit Cai Be floating market, an old colonial house, a rice corn factory and taste local specialties for lunch. In the afternoon return to Saigon.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 17: Saigon departure (B)
Free time for personal visiting and shopping until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
End of our services.
