HA LONG BAY

Situated in the North-East region of Vietnam, Halong Bay is a bay in the Gulf of Tonkin comprised of regions of Halong City, the township of Cam Pha, and a part of the island district of Van Don. Halong Bay borders Cat Ba Island in the southwest, the East Sea in the east, and the mainland, creating a 120 km coastline. Halong Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names.

PHU QUOC ISLAND

HUE
It is the provincial capital of Thua Thien and is situated along the banks of the famous Perfume River. Hue was once an ancient capital of the country during both the Tay Son and Nguyen Dynasty in early years. Throughout the centuries, it has become a large complex of many elegant architectural relics of the past. In 1993, Hue has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

PHAN THIET

Phan Thiet is a small, pleasant town on the central Vietnam coast. Located midway between Saigon and Nha Trang on National Highway 1, it used to have a reputation as a convenient overnight stop for travelers. HOI AN

In the 16th and the 17th centuries, Hoi An commercial port was the international trade center in Southern Vietnam. Foreign merchant ships came to Hoi An in great numbers and a bustle for annually commercial fairs, each lasted from 4 to 6 months. Right in this town, Japanese, Chinese,Dutch, Indian traders set up their emporiums or established their own quarters for permanent habitation.

PHONG NHA CAVE

Viet Nam's Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park has been recognised as a world natural heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) at its 27th general assembly session being held in Paris from June 30-July 5.At the session, delegates from over 160 member countries of UNESCO World Heritage Convention agreed to include Phong Nha-Ke Bang park and 30 others worldwide to the list of world heritage sites.
